There was a serious discussion happening in Egypt regarding the appointments of leadership in Higher Education in Egypt including Department Chairs, Deans and University Presidents. AEAS was asked to contribute its experiences and the experience of its members related to this topic in North America. Five members of AEAS have participated in this forum discussion in Al-Ahram Newspaper including Dr. Mohamed Attalla President AEAS, Dr. Adel Talaat, Secretary General of AEAS, Dr. Waguih El Maraghy, Dr. Ayman Mosalam and Dr. Adel El Maghrabi
