The AEAS 2006 Conference was held in the National Research Centre in Cairo under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hany Helal, Minister of Higher Education, and His Excellency Dr. Hany El Nazer, President of the National Research Centre. The conference was concluded with a round table discussion with researchers in the centre and AEAS members. A liaison committee was formed in order to coordinate research activities and collaborative efforts with the centre.
